Description
Delta-star air-cooled heat pumps are reversible chillers designed for a wide range of commercial-duty applications and provide an efficient means of cooling and heating process water. With a broad range of capacities available, 1/3 HP → 1 ½ HP, they utilize custom heat exchanger barrels with a robust titanium helical coil for maximum heat transfer efficiency.
Typical applications include process cooling, cold plunge, animal hydrotherapy, living exhibits, research, lobster and seafood holding tanks, hydroponics, aquariums, aquaculture, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and more.
Features:
- Reversible refrigeration cycle provides both cooling and heating in one package
- In-line PVC tube in shell with titanium heat exchanger coil (s)
- Dual-stage electronic temperature controller, NEMA 4X
- Temperature range of 40°F – 85°F water
- Optional water flow switch

System Requirements:
- An external pump is required to move water through the heat exchanger. Pumps are not included.
- Heat pumps must not be placed in a confined space as restricted air flow will damage the unit.
- Designed for indoor use.
